ERASMUS+ KA1 – EEEEK VÓLOS (GREECE) “Professional Qualifications Development in young students with special needs in Floriculture and Cooking”

Today is the last day of the mobility of the project “Professional Qualifications in young students with special needs in Floriculture and Cooking“, co-financed by the Erasmus + Program.

In the past two weeks, from March 28 to April 12, 2019, we hosted a group of 10 students and 6 teachers from the EEEEK Institute in Volos (Greece), a public school for the training of students with disabilities and special educational needs, as part of the project “Professional Qualifications Development in young students with special needs in Floriculture and Cooking”, co-financed by the Erasmus plus program.

The children have had the opportunity to discover our Region, visiting some companies and educational and training institutes, operating in the agricultural and floriculture sector in particular, also participating in related events, such as Agriumbria in Bastia Umbra, and Fiera Verde in Marsciano.

Interesting visits to important garden centers, agritourism activities and Social Cooperatives in the area, but also practical and workshop activities that the students could carry out thanks to the collaboration with the Ciuffelli-Einaudi Higher Education Institute of Todi and the CNOS FAP of Marsciano.

Two weeks dedicated to the social and cultural inclusion, aiming at the comparison between different realities, as a basis for improvement and mutual growth, also contributing to the promotion of places of natural and cultural interest, as well as of the associations, training and entrepreneurial realities of our territory.
