Peer Learning Workshop of the DRE project in Malaga

From 15 to 19 September 2024 we were in Malaga, Spain for the first Peer Learning Workshop (PLW) of the project “Don’t regulate, educate”.

The workshop was addressed to the staff of the project partner organizations, Travelogue, EurOperativa (Greece), Asociacion Iniciativa Internacional Joven (Spain) and GLAFKA s.r.o. (Czech Republic).

In these three days we had the opportunity to work on the project's research, focused on Digital Media Literacy and Critical Media Literacy and on the collection of good practices and projects carried out in our four countries on these topics.

We also visited and learned about the activities carried out by the association Prodiversa-Progreso y Diversidad and of the radio Onda Color Fm, which also gave us the opportunity to talk about our project in an interview.

The project, launched in April 2024, is coordinated by EurOperativa (Greece) and is co-funded by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ programme.

The aim of this project is to increase the human capital of our organizations’ staff, through the acquisition of new skills, methods and strategies related to supporting educational interventions for digital media literacy and critical media literacy (DML-CML), counteract the spread of fake news and improve analytical thinking and critical information processing.
