The last coordination meeting and the final dissemination conference of the project “E.T.I.C.A.S.D. – Education Tools Improvement Contributing to Adult Social Development”, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, took place on June 24th, 2021.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the impact of the project, the applicability of the results produced also in different contexts and the sustainability of the project after the end of the project itself. In particular, the E-learning platform created (www.key4development.eu), with training modules for the development of key competences 1-6, will be kept online for at least a further 3 years, so that it can be used by partners for their own local activities, further European projects and also by other organizations or adults for their education.
The dissemination conference took place online on the Zoom platform in the afternoon, with the presence of all the partners and many of the adult learners who were involved in the course of the project.
The representatives of the partner organizations (Travelogue APS (Italy), Crefad Loire (France), Asociación Iniciativa Internacional Joven (Spain) and InterMediaKT (Greece)) followed each other in the interventions for the presentation of all the activities carried out throughout the project lifetime, which started on 1st September 2018 and will end on 30th June 2021.
All the project results were presented, including the E-learning Platform for adult education, containing the online modules for the development of key competences and the Video CVs made by the learners involved in the project, in the learning mobilities and in the mentoring activities.
The impact that the project has had on the partner organizations was presented, helping to strengthen their international cooperation and improve the quality of their activities, and on adult learners, with the development of their key competences for social and professional inclusion and overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers.
In the final part of the conference, ample space was given to the learners involved, who were able to express an evaluation of their experience and to meet again those with whom they had spent the long period of mobility abroad (one month of mobility in Italy and one month in Spain), encouraging other adults to participate in future projects.
A few minutes were dedicated to the commemoration of Vivi, a participant of the mobility in Italy recently passed away.
